University of the Fraser Valley
School of Business
Located in the beautiful valley of the lower Fraser River, on the traditional territory of the Stó:lō people, the University of the Fraser Valley is committed to providing the best undergraduate education in Canada, and to be the leader of the social, cultural, economic and environmentally responsible development of the Fraser Valley. The UFV School of Business is housed on UFV’s largest campus, in Abbotsford, BC, at the heart of the growing and diverse Fraser Valley.
The UFV School of Business is about more than equipping students to become competent business professionals, it’s about developing innovative leaders who can adapt and thrive in our rapidly changing global environment.
With a special focus on practical, real-world learning – such as cooperative education programs, joint projects with local companies, national competitions, and opportunities to study abroad – UFV business students graduate with the hands-on experience and problem solving mindset needed to become change makers both locally and internationally.
Our programs
The UFV School of Business offers a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program, a BBA Aviation program; a Business Administration Diploma program; and a number of certificate programs. Some 1,500 students are currently enrolled in programs offered by the school.
The UFV BBA program has recently received EFMD EPAS accreditation, the first to do so in Western Canada.
The BBA Aviation program provides students with a unique opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree, private pilot license, commercial pilot license, and ratings that enable them to fly multiple types of aircraft while preparing for management responsibilities in the aviation industry.
Our city
With a growing business community, thriving arts culture, and close access to Vancouver, the Fraser Valley is an ideal location to live and study.
In less than an hour’s drive, students can reach ski hills, the ocean, or the City of Vancouver. Also, the USA border is only ten minutes away from UFV’s main Abbotsford campus.
Even during winter months, the Fraser Valley remains green, averaging only a few days of snow each year. Residents can enjoy nature all year-round, choosing from a range of fun activities, including hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, and more.
