Our faculty members are recognized for their research in business administration, ethics, finance, logistics, and marketing and are published in journals included in the Financial Times Top 50 and the A* or A ranked journals in the ABDC listings. Our Centre for Financial Studies (CFS) and International Business and Entrepreneurship Centre (IBEC) support and bolster student activities.

Why study here?
We’re a small school and that means we have the ability to focus on our students’ experience. We offer mentorship, academic advising and, through our robust industry partnerships, many opportunities for students to meet and work with business and community leaders. We have a close-knit community where students get to know their classmates, their professors and often their future employers and business partners.
Our combination of academic and experiential learning means students graduate with first-hand knowledge of how business theory plays out in the real world. Some of the experiential learning opportunities we offer include Co-op and internships in the BBA; research projects, internships and professional development in the MBA; and research projects, internships and professional development in the MQIM.
Our popular Accounting honours program provides many students a strong segue into the CPA study path.
Students interested in finance can take the Student Investment Fund course and learn how to invest while managing an $8.5 million fund and following the CFA Level One study path.
Students interested in entrepreneurship can purse the Concentration in Entrepreneurship and work with entrepreneurs and inventors to launch businesses through our Activator program. In our Venture assessment course taught in partnership with New Brunswick Innovation Foundation, students learn to make investment decisions on start-ups and early-stage ventures. The BMO Financial Group Apex Business Plan Competition brings student teams from across Canada to compete for prizes, and to network with seasoned entrepreneurs and investors.
Students interested exporting get real world experience in our Export Market Entry course where they are paired with NB businesses interested in exporting, to research market opportunities and prepare an export plan. We offer this in partnership with Ignite Fredericton’s Export Igniter program.
Several of our required and elective courses see students apply theory to real business challenges so they can test their knowledge in the field.
