HEC Montréal
HEC Montréal was founded in 1907, an initiative of the business community with the goal of enabling Québec Francophones to reach the highest echelons in the economy and business. The School has been a constant presence ever since in the community where it is rooted and on the global stage, where it plays a highly active role. Drawing on a remarkable roster of world-class professors and researchers specializing in every field of management, the School contributes to our society’s vigour and success thanks to the leadership it shows in everything it does: innovative teaching, in both its content and its approach, at all university levels; advanced research, tirelessly expanding management expertise; and knowledge transfer to outside organizations, in part through many fruitful partnerships. Thanks to HEC Montréal’s commitment to excellence, it was the first business school in North America to earn the three most prestigious international accreditations in its field: AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. HEC Montréal has been designated as an Ashoka U Changemaker Campus, making it the world’s first French-language campus to receive this recognition. This designation salutes the school’s efforts to advance social innovation and changemaking across higher education. At the crossroads of two continents and countless cultures, HEC Montréal enjoys a privileged position within the French-speaking world and around the globe.
